Downtown Glendale Art Crawl season resumes Saturday sept. 26

There’s a new reason to spend your weekend in Downtown Glendale, Arizona.  Downtown Glendale's  Art Crawl is teaming up with La Fiesta de Glendale with a collaboration big block party event: La Fiesta and Art Crawl de Glendale.  The event is in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month and also resumes mural season on Saturday September 26th.  

Typically held on a Sundays, the Fall season kicks off on a Saturday for the September edition.  Visitors are invited to start their day with brunch or lunch at one of Downtown Glendale’s locally owned restaurants, cafés, or coffee shops, then walk the historic neighborhood to experience artists painting live in front of downtown businesses at several locations.  Kids art stations will inspire kids creativity while DJ's spin your favorite party anthems and live music from POWERDRIVE Band end the day with a 2 hour set from 5-7pm.  This celebration is a perfect way to spend a Saturday with a relaxed, daytime twist — perfect for families, dates, and anyone who loves supporting local.

October & November Art Crawls will resume on the last Sunday of the month where artists will create large-scale works right before your eyes. Pieces will be painted in impressive mini-mural 4 ft x 7 ft transforming sidewalks into open-air studios. Visitors can watch the creative process unfold, meet the artists, and see each month’s theme interpreted in real time.

Each month will feature a unique theme for participating artists to follow. At the conclusion of the event, the art will be displayed at participating art crawl businesses and become part of the Sunday Brunch Art Crawl map.

The Sunday Brunch Art Crawl is a year-long series, bringing consistent energy, culture, and foot traffic to Downtown Glendale throughout 2026. The event is organized by a collaboration of downtown merchants and local Glendale artist Johnny Morales, with the goal of bringing more art to the community and supporting small businesses.

Whether you’re coming for chilaquiles and mimosas, prickly pair tea and fresh baked pastries, or a full brunch spread, you’ll find that art pairs perfectly with a Sunday crawl in Downtown Glendale.
